　　在日常生活中，淡水是必不可少的(indispensable)，人们喝水、做饭或洗衣服都离不开淡水(rely on fresh water to drink, cook or wash clothes)，同时，淡水被认为是一种商品(be regarded as a commodity)，只要人们支付得起(afford)，就可以随意使用(feel free to utilize it)。

　　正方1段: 控制淡水使用有利于人类的可持续发展(sustainable development of human beings)。

　　淡水是不可再生资源(nonrenewable resource)，如果不加以限制，人们很容易过度使用(overuse it)，那么，淡水资源很快就会枯竭(be exhausted soon)，危及后代的生存(pose a threat to the survival of later generations)。

　　正方2段: 控制淡水使用有利于人们养成节约用水的好习惯(raise a good habit of saving water)。

　　如果可以任意使用淡水，人们就会不珍惜淡水资源(do not cherish fresh water)，导致浪费和滥用水资源(result in the waste and abuse of water resource)，比如洗手之后不关水龙头(leave the tap on after washing hands)，不利于人们养成节约用水的好习惯(fail to develop the habit of water conservation)。
