关于Mary Rose sink的三个原因

阅读：

听力反驳：

1. 发现ship的时候gunport里面filled with canon。

2. Mary Rose是不列颠Navy的flagship旗舰，全员都是elites(精英)，即使有矛盾也不会违抗captain的order。

3.法国人的说法是有政治意图political motivation，为了证明法国的海军实力不比英国差，起码是和英国实力相当。。

独立写作回顾：

Do you agree or disagree with the statement: It is better to finish a project completely and then do another project than do two or more projects at the same time.

Agree（建议从此角度入手）：

1.一次性完成一件事会带来高质量。a sole stress of efficiency often results in a compromise of quality.一些工作需要注意细节和高度集中的（highly detailed and require a lot of careful attention）举例论证：生物工程类（a biology project involving the genetic engineering of a human cell line）

2.工作的特殊性，要求参与者只能在一个时间做一件事情。Some projects often involve products that will affect the safety of a large number of individuals，which are assigned with specific instructions for those involved to not take on any other projects.举例论证：Tacoma Narrows Bridge。由于交通部同时进行了其他工作，导致工程师不能集中精力去建造大桥，最终被大风摧毁。

3.结论：由于人们注意力的时效性，以及工作的特殊性，笔者同意题中的观点。因为同时进行多项工作会导致重复性作业或生命财产的损失。Trying to couple several projects simultaneously will only result in one having to redo a lot of work due to careless errors or worse, a devastating loss of lives.

Disagree（思路）：

1. 人的注意力集中时间是有限的A person has a limited attention span。长时间专注于一件事会造成时间和精力的浪费。

2. 对于现代人来说效率就是多线程（efficiency means multi-tasking）
