大作文: Many people today prefer to socialize online rather than to spend time with friends in local community, do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

2. 整体分析:

Task 1 地图

博物馆改建前后（1998&2008年）的对比图，属于常见的动态地图题，难度不大。

注意点：1)注意按照顺序描述房间的方位信息，不要乱 2)注意改建前后的比较和连接词的使用 3)注意句型丰富性

相关表达：

1. 位于，坐落于: located in / near ... ; situated in /near /at ... ；lie in /between ...
2. There was a … in the northeast corner of …
3. … is transformed to/ reconstructed to/ changed to ...
4. … was built/established/constructed in the middle of …

Task2：社会类话题

题目翻译：现在很多人更喜欢在网络上社交而不是花时间和身边的朋友在一起。你认为是否利大于弊？

这个题目讨论的点主要是prefer to socialize online，所以文章在构思内容上应该关注的重点是网络社交的利弊分析。

Introduction：People have different views about the influence of online socialization, I believe there are more drawbacks than benefits.

（观点1）On the one hand, 在网络上交朋友可以了解更多知识, 扩宽眼界 (acquire knowledge and broaden horizon). 在网络上交朋友不会受到地域的限制(without geographical restrictions), 可以认识天南地北的朋友, 扩大交际圈(enlarge the circle of friends). 尤其是可以认识到很多有相同兴趣爱好的朋友(friends who share the same interests), 比如, 现在古风音乐的爱好者（national style music lovers）, 身边很多朋友并不喜欢, 找不到共同话题. 相比较而言, 在网络上能够发掘更多的共同爱好的朋友(with common interests both personally and professionally).

（观点2）On the other hand, 网络交友会导致人与人在生活中变得比较疏远(become alienated). 人们每天活在虚拟的世界中(live in the virtual world), 会慢慢忽视与身边的朋友的交往, 从而会缺乏这种社区的归属感(lack a sense of belonging to the community). 其次secondly, 网络交友的风险较高，不如身边的朋友安全可靠(safe and reliable). 很多人在网络上交流(socialize on the web)会使用网名(screen names), 所以彼此之间并不知道真实身份(real identities). 很多人对于自己的言行就不会那么负责(be less responsible for what they say and do), 比如新闻媒体上经常报道网络交友被欺骗(get deceived)，蒙受了经济损失(bear economic loss).

Conclusion：In conclusion, I would argue that the disadvantages of socializing via the internet do outweigh the advantages.
