Talking about a Uni’s rule that I disagree with, there’s the one I really want to complain about. The ridiculous rule from my university was that all the freshmen should not bring their laptop to school and they can only use computers in library if they need. The administration department in university suggested that the freshman year is so important that student should focus on their academic study, and playing computer would be a distraction.
Indeed, some students in university would be addicted in playing computer games and wasted a lot of time in study, owing to the reason that there’s quite a lot of free time in university. However, personally, I’d like to argue that this school rule was too extreme and brought quite a lot trouble. To begin with, computer is needed in some of our course study. For example, sometimes we were assigned to make group presentation in freshman year. So computer is needed in many occasions, such like information searching, data analyzing, PPT making and so on. And sometimes teachers would require us to send them paper by email. Maybe the authority would argue that freshman can use computers in library, but the fact was that the computer available in library was limited and library would close at 9pm, so freshman who want to use computer to continue their course study after 9 was impossible when back to their dorm. Wow, this was so terrible.
Besides, I think study is not stand for everything in university life. Just like a famous saying goes like that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Proper time of computer games, online chatting, and watching some Videos, and online shopping would help students to release their pressure and relax.
Although this rule can prevent the freshman addicting in playing computer, it brought a lot of inconveniences in our life, so that’s why I dissatisfied with this school rule.

If I have to say a few words on a city I have been to, I would like to bring up the trip to Hobart in Tasmania state in Australia.
Tasmania is a separate island in south of Australia, which is known as the heart of the world. Actually, I have spent few years study in Australia, however, I have never been to this must-go destination.
After hard working for the whole year, recently, I would like to have my annual leave. Therefore, the idea of going to Tasmania suddenly popped up in my mind. I would like to go with my bestie, who is a senior traveller. She’s really good at scheduling trips by her-self instead of booking the package tour in travel agency.
As my friend suggested, we would rent a SUV and have a self-driving trip around the island. The highlight of the trip would be we will not book the traditional hotel in Tasmania, instead, we would like to try boathouse through the help of a useful website called ‘Airbnb’, which is a website can provide unique service of booking unusual accommodations, such as a wooden house in amazon forest, a boathouse in Perth, and even a cave hotel in Cappadocia of Turkey.
Of course, I like the city pretty much, and the first impression fell into my mind of this place would be tranquil and peaceful. It just gave me the feeling that I just stepped into a land of idyllic beauty. If I need to use a few words to describe my feeling of my five-day trip, I would say ‘amazing views and nice people’.
