Task 1

Which website do you think is the most popular website in your country? Explain why.

 

Task 2

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: it is better to use games in class? Please use specific reasons and details to support you opinion.

 

Task 3
READING:
School wants the literature majors to write an senior thesis which requires a lot of research. And also school will assign a faculty adviser to help students with the problems ofresearch skills.
LISTENING:
The boyagrees, because:

1.The papers they have written before are all short. Those papers are finished through interpretation. Students are still in lack of research skills.

2.the writing center is far from the student classroom so they have to walk a long way. Besides, the appointment can’t always start on time in busy working days, so this action can’t save time.Having a faculty adviser can be of great value. It is very convenient for students to ask the advisers questions about essay. The advisers can also help students improve their experiment skills.  

 

Task 4

READING:
Term: Ergonomic design

Definition: Ergonomic design is a design which takes the consumers’ comfort as the first priority. It can helps improve the customer experience.With the ergonomic design, people can improve their work efficiency.

LISTENING:

The professor uses his own experience as an example. He used to talk with his clients a lot in the phone. And he needed to keep his arm and shoulder in a fixed position for a long time to hold his phone. His neck would soon feel uncomfortable. Later,school bought him a new device which let him answer phones more comfortably.

Task 5

Problem:The boy is going to hold a poetry reading activity. But there are more students participating the activity than they expected. And they have only reserved the cafeteria for only one hour which is not enough for all the twenty students to do the reading.

Solution 1:Tell some of the participants to come next time, but they would be disappointed.

Solution 2: Move to another place--- lecture houseto hold the activity. There will be no coffee and snacks, but all the people can do the poetry reading together.

Task 6

Topic:Consumer Psychology
The professor talks about the drawbacks of discontinuous products. The first one is that the products are very expensive since they have costed a lot of money and time to be invented. So there are only few people would like to by those products. The professor takes the electric car as an example. It costs a lot to invent the battery for the electric cars so they are very expensive. The second one is that people have to change their behavior patterns for the discontinuous products. For example, if people want to travel in an electric car, they have to design a route with battery charging stations.

Task 1

这是一道题材较为新鲜的题目,是关于最流行的网站,可谓相当的与时俱进。虽然选题较新,我觉得回答的套路还是跟以前的准备相似的,首先说明那个网站是什 么,然后说明这个网站为什么流行,可以从信息丰富,信息更新快,准确性强,或是娱乐性强。个人经历可以是满足自己某次非常重要的收集信息的需求或是娱乐需 求。

Task 2

典型的disagree or agree 的问题,如果赞同在课堂上使用educational game, sample 如下:

Personally, I totally agree with this statement. Firstly, it makes the classes more interactive, students tend to cooperate with each other and think hard to figure out the best way to deal with their opponents, in this process they can really come up with creative solutions. Apart from that, playing games is good way to bring together students who have different personalities, it helps them to bond more with each other.

Task 3

学习场景。学校的决定和政策尽量在前20秒内陈述完;学生的态度与支持原因需有逻辑地阐述,注意逻辑连接词的使用。

 

Task 4

设计学。涉及工程设计,讲座以教授自身经历为例,解释了工业设计如何提升消费者的体验,以人为本,尽量在15秒内把定义讲完,留足够时间复述教授个人经历。

 

Task 5

时间冲突场景。学生学会抓住核心问题(这需要大量的练习),学会适当省去铺垫的细节以及那些不那么重要的信息;每个解决方案下包含各自好处与坏处,应尽量去记下。

回答逻辑:简单阐述问题—两个解决办法内容—个人偏好—原因。

Task 6

心理学学科。主要是消费心理学,没有什么太难的词汇,讲座是教授用的电动车的例子,讲了两个不同的方面来先后支持第一和第二个论点。

考试预测

Task 1越来越切合实际,需要时刻更新自己的资料库,加入现代化的武器;Task 2熟悉两类题的答题逻辑。针对独立题,大家还是要多多积累,多多动笔,多“编段子”,以便在考场上能够镇定自若地发挥,不至于由于紧张而产生讲话磕巴等问题。
Task 3和5依然关注各类校园场景,以及学生身边的问题;task 4和6注意分类背诵单词,不仅在口语中有用,在阅读和听力部分也是作用不小。重点要熟悉心理学,生物学词汇。
